Haunting and beautiful.

I’m typically not one to pick up a horror book, but the prose was absolutely stunning. I liked the build up of suspense and even though I didn’t really feel like the final reveal was much of a twist, the book overall still delivered an entertaining story with great writing. It can be graphic at times with the imagery, but personally I did not find it to be overly gory.

This was haunting and beautiful at the same time. I loved the weirdness of it.

I liked the book, but I wanted a bit more honestly. And some parts got a bit repetitive. The twist also wasn't shocking honestly.

I wish we got a bit more insight on what the sisters were honestly. I feel like that was something that never really got answered. If the book was focused more on the story of the sisters getting acclimated into the family when they were younger it would have been a stronger for me.
