Wow! This book blew me away and exceeded all of my expectations. The story is intoxicatingly addictive, and constantly keeps you guessing about what happened to the three Hollow sisters. The writing is atmospheric and so brutally vivid that it paints a tangible, gruesome world for the reader to interact with. 
Perhaps in the ending I would have liked a little more from the characters as the reveal unfolded quite quickly, but other than that, the journey with Iris and her sisters was captivating.

I thought it would be more black magic/fairy type vibe but it ended up being quite gory and very dark. Pushed me out of my comfort zone for sure, but it was good enough I was compelled to keep reading till the end.

This brought me out of a very deep reading slump so perhaps that's why i'm more partial to the story, got attached to the characters only to realise there is no sequel coming. RIP my House of Hollow theories, you will never see canonity
