4⭐️ This was so sweet and sexy, and the duel audio narration was great!

A curvy 40 something FMC, this was what I needed!

CW: fatphobia—Ari is so self confident and wonderful, but she lives in a fatphobic world and comes up against bigotry regularly. I wanted to punch several people during this book, and let’s just say some of them got their comeuppance.

This was very much a cheesy rom-com, a bit cliche at times, so bear that in mind if you are romance-lactose-intolerant! The MMC was so perfect and kind hearted at all times, he did seem like a unicorn—but sometimes you need that fantasy escapism 🥰. The spice was really spicing (maybe an 2.5🌶️) and it was overall a fun, easy read.
lighthearted

Aw! I love Ari and Porter! And I’m a sucker for an office romance. It’s the thrill of nobody knowing

This was a cute book, and I loved that the MC (Ari) was a black plus-size woman who was not only loved but *desired* by the male MC. She was sexy as hell and it was great. Some of the plot wasn't really up my street, and Ari sometimes came across a bit 'girlboss' which isn't really my vibe, but overall this was a sweet, steamy read.

What a fun book! As a Hamptonian I loved all the little pieces of my home by the sea, the book included. I loved getting to know and love thru Ari and Porter! It definitely felt like a slow and steady build up and even the end threw me for a loop! It was definitely spicier than I had anticipated, but so so so good!

Here for all the representation in this book. I didn't know this was what I was missing, but it was. Great little romance for a plus size gal. It felt nice to be seen.
