reading this book was like being forced to endure someone’s boringass family picture slideshow. then, because that wouldn’t be long enough, you watch the exact same slideshow three more times.

i have no idea how this became popular enough to be made into a movie. the only moment in which it’s not insufferably dull is when
the THIRTEEN YEAR-OLD GHOST POSSESSES THE BODY OF A WOMAN IN ORDER TO REPEATEDLY FUCK HER CHILDHOOD CRUSH WHO IS NOW AN ADULT MAN. is he aware that he’s fucking the ghost of a thirteen-year-old girl? YES!

that whole scene is so batshit bonkers. not only is it invalidating of the ghost rules that the book itself set, it also ruins one if the only likable characters in the process. WOULD YOU AS AN ADULT WANT TO FUCK YOUR THIRTEEN YEAR OLD CRUSH?? i should fucking hope not.
GOD this was such a shit book im losing my mind

Very gruesome, uncomfortable and triggering. I understand it was meant to bee that, but it was too much for me.
