I thought Saint View High would be hard to top.. but I was so so wrong!! Ugh.. call me a magnet for all things tall, dark, tattooed and literal walking red flags because YES ma’am!! From beginning to end I adored Mae and couldn’t help but admire how much of a total bada** she is. She trusted her instincts and couldn’t be deterred or silenced when it came to seeking justice for her sister, and for Heath. I loved how hers and Liam, Rowe, and Heath’s little family came together, and how sweet little Ripley got both his momma and his daddy, and how Mae never felt put off by that. The beautiful little surprise at the end…. My heart 🥲 it was so beautiful to watch this come full circle and for everyone to get their HEA!!!

Side note: Totally love Vincent and his creepy yet protector meets boogeyman thing he’s got going on. I don’t know how I’d handle that personally if it were me, maybe just don’t forget to leave a warm meal by the tree line every evening or a daily bottle of water. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣 Good will and all lol.

4.5 Stars, 5 Spice, Not CF friendly

Very spicy wrap up to this trilogy. I do find that Elle Thorpe seems to pack a lot into her endings, as there is a lot to wrap up and sometimes it can feel a bit rushed and disjointed with things from earlier books coming up randomly. It does all wrap up nicely, but I find it a bit off-pace at times. Lots of twists and turns, and the final dramatic scene is going to be a big surprise to a lot of readers!

Half the epilogue was great, and then the second half was not to my taste. Obviously not child-free friendly as there is a kid from one character's previous relationship that's a significant part of this book. Don't get me wrong, he's adorable and I enjoyed his role in this book. Just like to give a heads-up to people who prefer books to be child-free.

Overall I love Health, Liam and Rowe, and how much they love Mae. Elle Thorpe writes some of the best spicy why-choose/RH series!
medium-paced

Ahhhh so good!!!!! The drama in this book was off the charts!!!!!! I was really worried about Ripley in the middle and really worried about Heath in the end. So happy everything worked!!!!!! I think the whole Vincent thing in the bonus scene is a little creepy but I guess I understand the reasoning lol

4.5 stars

Ugh this book was so good! It had lots of romance with a side of a good mystery/thriller plot as well as developed characters. It was entertaining, had some nice spicy scenes and was just a well rounded why-choose romance.

I was worried it would feel rushed with all the subplots that were left from the last book but somehow it didn’t feel rushed at all. All the lose ends were tied up nicely on top of some nice side character moments sprinkled in. I really liked the balance between the mystery plot and the character development. When reading romance, I typically like at least a 60/40 with romance over plot as I usually don’t have patience for boring plots with OTT endings but I was just as excited reading the mystery plot as I was reading about the MCs relationship development. It didn’t take over the story but complemented it very nicely. I found the ending also wasn’t too OTT and didn’t feel like it was in there just for a shock factor.

The character plot aspect of the book is also so good! I liked every MC and really enjoyed seeing their relationships which each other develop individually. I loved reading Heath and Liam’s platonic dynamic develop into a different kind of family relationship. Somehow it all worked without feeling like they were missing something or someone was left out.

This series is a new favourite of mine. I literally don’t have any complaints about it! Also, the dark romance side of my brain wants book about Vincent! I’m sorry, I just I loved him.

I don't know why it took me so long to read this dang series. I'm obsessed. My one and only gripe is that I wish, SO BADLY, there were some alternative covers. I would love to own physical copies, but the half-naked random men (who usually don't match up with what I think the characters look like) are NOT IT when it comes to the aesthetic of my bookshelves.

The MM relationship in this series is truly so well done...top tier. The spice scenes are fantastic and plentiful. The plot was there, and even though I knew we were heading towards a HEA, I was still surprised a few times. Mae continues to annoy me a little bit, but other than a few eye rolls I ignored it in favor of the rest of the awesomeness.

Highly recommend. I loved Vincent, so I'm excited he'll appear in another series! This was the first I've read of this author...I refuse to read high school romances which I know is the other series Tiktok fawns over, but I was excited to see that there are other options to explore!
