Sooo emotional. Triggering but I'm glad I read it. I read the third book first (stand-alone but connected ) so I pretty much knew how it would end but damn the journey to get there was traumatic.

Great book but PLS PLS PLS read trigger warnings. I went into this book thinking it was going to be a cute sports romance… BOY WAS I WRONG. This book is so emotional. I was on a roller coaster. I felt like I was screaming for air reading this. I cried so many tears bc I know this is the reality for many women.

Loved the writing and the development of the characters. I honestly just wasn’t expecting it to get so dark!!! Like this was not what I was expecting but it made the ending so worth the journey.
