Christopher Moore has a knack for telling crazy stories. You know you’re in a weird, eccentric, hilarious world with his novels, and Stupidest Angel is no exception. He has this universe he’s created through all his novels and just keeps telling these odd-duck stories. Gotta love it!
Fun, but no where none his most brilliant or funniest book.
When a bizarre stranger traipses into Pine Cove, odd things happen in the tiny Christmas town. Raziel, indeed The Stupidest Angel, makes a hilarious mistake and chaos ensues. A fun December #bookclub pick! Who needs a cozy romance when you can have pure Yuletide absurdity?

This was my first Christopher Moore book. It is very very funny in spite of/because the excessive foul language and sex. And who doesn't enjoy Christmas Zombies?
I really enjoyed this. Usually book clubs do really sappy books for Christmas, so I was not sure what I was getting into. This one was funny. No sap. The angel sounded gorgeous, but like well built, gorgeous men, he was not overly bright. The book involved Santa Claus and Zombies. However, please read the warning in the front of the book. Do NOT get this for your grandma unless she can handle this kind of thing. This is NOT a cute Christmas story. It is a dark comedy.
