This book had me laughing aloud repeatedly. A great book to read at Christmastime. I really enjoyed how everything was wrapped up at the end, too. (Dec. 22 - 25, 2010)

This is still a really good book. The characters are all so unique, yet have a real depth to them. Chapter 13 does such a great job of filling in traits of the main characters in a unique way. I think what I like about Christopher Moore's books is that they are so funny , so full of jokes, yet the jokes are not made at the expense of plot or character development. That's a tough thing to do. Okay, and I enjoy laughing while I read. (Dec. 6 - 13, 2011)

Hilarious and demented! I want a fruit bat for Christmas!

3.5 ⭐️

Entretenido como todos sus libros, pero nomás.

Fast, easy read and a whole lot of fun.

Very funny. I really didn't think it would be that good. Chapter 16 is the best, at least I think it's Chapter 16.....

I almost turned it off in the beginning because it took me awhile to tolerate the narrator's voice, but I stuck with it. It was a moderately amusing story, but definitely not my favorite Christopher Moore book.

Raunchy, clever, and ridiculous.

This was a very odd book. I wasn't sure what to expect by the subtitle - "A heartwarming tale of Christmas terror', but even not knowing what to expect it wasn't what I expected (if that makes sense). I only gave it two stars because while I enjoyed the characters I'm not sure if I really liked the story. Was doing OK until the zombies appeared which I didn't like. But it would make a very fun discussion group book (which is why I'm reading it).

I am new to this author. I liked his other book better.

No me ha acabado de gustar mucho, no sé si es porque no me encaja el humor del autor o qué... A pesar de eso creo que le daré otra oportunidad con otro libro a ver qué tal porque con este no me he reído mucho.
