Well written and amusing, but a little long. Enjoyable telling of creation, Gods, the famous stories and all the bizarre sex and killing one can imagine!

It feels great to refresh my knowledge of Greek mythology. As the daughter of a classics professor I've been around it forever but honestly needed to brush up on my knowledge. In high school, I read Edith Hamilton's collection of myths retold but I can't tell you if I liked that better than Stephen Fry's version because I simply can't remember enough. For now, I'll just say that I enjoyed both. I appreciate Fry's distinct voice even when telling age-old stories. His humorous point of view often kept the myths fresh, even the ones I know by heart.

Somehow this also got me thinking about the Goddess Girls series again HAHA. Those books are so addictive even though I am twice the age of their intended audience. It's literally the nostalgia factor.

This is a really good book! It’s informative but extremely funny/entertaining. The myths are also easy to consume!

Really brings Greek mythology to life without feeling like your watching a Disney movie or enduring a classics lecture. Funny, engaging and fascinating.

I love Greek mythology, but in this book, there were too many side characters that I couldn't keep up with all the information. The other two books of the series I enjoyed a lot.

Interesting but I can find Stephen fry a bit irritating and this book reads exactly how he speaks which is great if you like that sort of thing
