Now I need to watch Goodfellas, never seen it.

If you’ve seen Goodfellas, you know the story. But even if you know the details, it’s still a very entertaining ready about Henry Hill. Loved it.

An amazing book, it was really hard to put it down or make pauses while reading it.
My guess is that because the book is about an actual person and the crimes he committed, but most importantly how they were committed. All in all it is a wonderful insight into the life of a wiseguy.

Great book, a classic true crime for sure. Most books are better then the movies that where made and this is no exception, the movie was called "Good Fellas" and although a great movie the book was much better. A true I always wanted to be a gangster book, gritty and raw you care about the main characters.

p cool

I knew I was going to read this quickly because I'm a hoe for gangster stories. Loved it! No complaints!

The book that inspired the film GoodFellas, and if you've seen that movie you've practically already read this book. I still enjoyed it.

Goodfellas, the book. Really, if you've seen the movie, the book will seem very familiar. There's a bit more detail in the book, but all the key points are the same. If you watched Goodfellas and wanted to know a bit more of the stories behind the scenes, this is your go-to.

The plot certainly isn't boring, but if you're reading this and waiting for something totally unexpected to happen, you'll be disappointed. Four stars from someone who would absolutely give the movie a 5 out of 5.

Mafia books aren't really my cup of tea, but after hearing about the passing of America's most notorious wise guy, and seeing it on my boyfriends book shelf, I decided to give it a try. I watched Goodfellas for the first time a few months back and I'm thinking if I hadn't seen it prior to reading this book it would have been more difficult to read. Nonetheless, I liked it and it's a fascinating glimpse into American history..
