A fun mini-mystery from the Wells and Wong series. Daisy and Hazel are in London after their return from Hong Kong and during a treasure hunt manage to get tangled up in something more serious. Daisy's writing this one - and her uncle Felix is back with his new wife. So much fun.

Good quick mystery, loved the characters and author for years. Daisy's commentary instead of hazels was a funny new perspective!

*from notion archive* Another cute 150 page story. This one was set in London, especially in the British Museum (note, if we go to London I defiantly want to go back there) I loved seeing more of Alexander and George (I love George's character so much, no matter what happened in the final book, he is gay, him and Daisy are queer besties who just want to rant about the stuggles of being queer!) Also that bit where Daisy says she can't look at boys the way that hazel can - YESSSSSSSSS I love how this book so seamlessly links to Death in the Spotlight, like that was such a nice touch The setting was good, george was very good and it was a lovely little companion book to the series

Short story in the Wells/Wong partnership. They're back from HK, in London, and investigating a string of museum thefts with the Junior Pinkertons. The use of Egyptian hieroglyphs was extremely dubious but the author herself acknowledges this so I'm giving her a pass on it.

Short but very fun and I loved that it was narrated by Daisy! It's also made me really want to go back to the British Museum after everything has settled down.

Read- June 2020 for the MakeYourMythTaker Readathon (Assassin- quick read) and the Kpop Readathon (Shinee-Undercover- Read a mystery or a thriller)
- Objectively is this a 5 star read? Probably not. Am I going to rate it 5 stars though? 100%
Even if it wasn't a 5 star read it would still be a 4 star read though so I don't feel too bad about it, besides I prefer to rate based on my own enjoyment of a book.
