This book is a classic, but the second person point of view is not my favorite. I enjoyed certain parts of the story, but other parts were boring. The illustrations and the book itself is beautiful.

A very fantastical read. Writing back in the old days was so whimsical and enjoyable to read. The story is pretty much like the adaptations, except for a few things. Overall a fun read! Childhood is so precious.

Read this for our Odyssey of the Mind problem. Short enough to be read in a day, thank God! Surprisingly the same as the Disney movie, which makes it easy on me.

Koste mæ enormt med det gjenhøret her. Har nok hørt den forkorta lydboka på norsk ca. tusen gang.

Lydbok.

Having grown up with the Disney version, I honestly didn't enjoy this much.
I thought Peter was a horrible boy and had little sympathy for him. It was also far more violent than I expected - so much death and murder or pirates and 'redskins'.
It was interesting to read the original story, but not one I liked

This was... odd. The tone of the book really threw me. I think what surprised me the most is that Nana seems to be simultaneously a perfectly regular dog, and able and willing to bathe and dress children. Wonderful, but I'm confused.

The story is definitely dated, but we don't need to get into that. It was a fun read with more emotional depth than I expected, but definitely not something I'm going to feel compelled to read again.

I love Peter Pan. Thus reading it in preparation for Never by @jessa.hastings is definitely not a punishment. I never read the book; I've only seen all the different movies. And as it is mostly similar, it is funny how the 'older' language gives it a different, more fairytale twist in my mind. As I was reading this, I also looked up some reviews of the book, and after doing so, I learned the true story of why J.M. Barrie wrote this book and it just changed my perspective of it. At first, I thought that I didn't like it as much as I did, but actually, the message behind the story now makes me love it even more. It is so beautiful what a story can do.

I’m happy to say that not even Disney can top classic books. Thank god.

This was just about as magical and enchanting as you’d expect of a classic fairy tale. It was lovely to accompany Peter Pan on his adventures though Neverland. The essence of childhood captured by this book was just wonderful, I’ve got no complaints.

There isn’t much to say besides what most already know about Peter Pan.

‘All children, except one, grow up.’

Timeless.
