it was such a bizarre read and experience. as much as the first one was funny and interesting in it’s weirdness, i hated the second play. it was so weird and i couldn’t understand a thing really.

Really great! The first one was hard to follow, but that's probably due to the fact that it's an absurd play and English is my first language. The second is much more serious, and is great for a quick read for a French student! I'm looking forward to reading more of Ionesco's plays.

Je n’ai ni trouvé ça drôle ni intéressant.
J’ai juste eu l’impression de perdre mon temps. « La leçon » était cependant mieux que « La cantatrice chauve ».
