A heartbreaking, gut wrenching story, wonderfully illustrated and told. The art is beautiful and it really helps you get inside Melinda’s head and understand her inner turmoil and her trauma. It’s not an easy read, it deals with hard topics like rape and the aftermath of being sexually assault but if you can, I would recommend it.

everything else was just boring. I didn't like how long it took for the story to get told. There were so many chapters where nothing happened, and it took so long to get to the general plot of the story. I didn't like the way it was told and sometimes it was very hard to read what was written on the pages because both the pictures and the text were so dark. I didn't connect with the characters and sadly didn't care for the victim, because she felt very flat to me. Important story, not so well told.
