A marvelous introduction to systems theory, including some of the common traps that systems fall into and how to get out of them. Clear, illuminating, and very accessible to the lay reader. Highly recommended.

A thorough and accessible intro to systems theory, and ends with a prophetic (long-range vision) message. An exciting read for this systems nerd!

Such an excellent, important book. A massive upgrade to typical, narrow, linear ways of seeing and attempting to better understand the universe's interconnected complexity. I expected this book to be highly informational and perhaps, because of that, to be a "dry" read. I was surprised by how touching and emotionally resonant this book is while conveying the abundant insights and knowledge it contains. If I had an "All Humans Should Read" list, this book would definitely be on it. Hmm...

Nice introduction to the subject. I have especially enjoyed the Trap/Opportunities section.

I wish the second half of this book could be required reading for everyone. It was written decades ago but it's still 100% relevant to life today.
