This is essentially a college textbook; it's a hard slog to read it cover to cover. But it does cover the topic well, and is clear and seems (to my inexpert eye) to be complete.
informative

I think it was too theoretical. I still feel powerless in changing horrible system like government, it is just easier to leave.

A approachable overview of systems thinking that is an economical read, not a word is wasted yet is very easy to follow. This will give you a new perspective on how you approach problems, looking at them as a result of system or systems.

It also feels like therapy for analysts, who are often tasked in meeting unrealistic expectations with analysis. This shows that often times we are working in systems far too complicated to model well even with the latest statistical techniques or AI, even.

Read it from beginning to end in a day. The message is quite simple and even more simple for anyone with knowledge of control systems. But the insight is priceless.

Read this on a whim (Trying to catch up on reading at year end).
I will probably purchase a hard copy of this book. It's important.

The illustrations alone (PDF download for Audio and Kindle versions) are a treasure trove.
