Richelle Mead

Fantastic ending to a fantastic series! Well Done Richelle Mead.

This was the worst ending for a book. I don't care if Rose had a happy ending or not. She can die for all I care. But what happened to Sydney! Adrian didn't deserve the ending he got either.

The final scene with Adrian. It. Broke. My. Heart. Completely. I love Adrian. I really do but I've always been a heavy Rose/Dimitri-shipper. But did Richelle have to go and break Adrian's heart like that??! Boo. But I am beyond happy that Dimitri and Rose got to be together in the end, and that they both forgave themselves! Loved it.

I wasn't exactly thrilled over the fact that there so many lose ends in the end (Sydney, Robert and Edie). I reckon we'll get some answers in the next series as it features Sydney, but still.

So many times I just burst out laughing. Not only at Rose's thoughts and remarks, but just the situations she got herself in! I mean the whole Joshua-thing at the keepers? Priceless. PRICELESS.

I'll leave it be for now till I can gather my thoughts a bit more and maybe even sneak in another read. I don't have uni for a whole month, after all!

Aaaaaa-mazing :) As I knew it would be! Just wish it wasnt the last! A must read!!!

I did not see most of the plot in this novel coming. What a fantastic way to end the series!

My favorite in the series. It teach us that love always remain, even in the people that had gonne to a lot.

I really wanted to give this book a higher rating, as I did enjoy it, but I feel as though there are still a ton of loose ends to wrap up!!

Regardless, I think that this series finished up nicely and I'm happy that Rose figured out her love life and that her and Lissa are able to function without one another. Also... I am pretty happy about Dimitri finally accepting the way his life has gone.

Listen. My 5 stars on all of these books are not to be taken seriously. I consider myself a serious book reviewer (to only myself) and I can recognize that these all receiving 5 stars takes some of my credibility away. However, the ONLY reason it’s rated this way is because I read these books when I was like 15 and was soooooooo obsessed with them. I haven’t reread them in like literally 10 years so I’d like to believe I’ve matured a lot since that time.

Rereading these felt nostalgic and also made me giggle so much because of how ridiculous a lot of it is. I can picture myself being so obsessed at the time when I was just a naive young woman… but good god. These are not serious books at all.

I remember being so enthralled with Rose and thinking she was the epitome of a strong female main character! How hilarious that is to read now. I do still love her but she’s got so many faults I could hardly stand her at some portions of it.

I am also really angry that there’s so many characters whose lives hang in the balance. Like it gave a super happy fairytale ending for Rose, Lissa, and Dimitri. But what about Eddie? Sydney? ADRIAN? Adrian my fucking BABY???? (Yes he’s problematic idgaf) And what about Jill?? They make it seem like Lissa is going to write her off? She’s just a child. Ugh. But at least Rose is happy and dating her 24 year old bf that everyone suddenly supports right???

The best part of this entire 6 book series is all of this happens in literally ONE YEAR. One year. I mean it’s comical to me but so precious because be serioussssssss. Rose is 18!!!!!! She’s 18
