This was my first book by Haley Jenner and I LOVED IT! This was beautifully written and I was addicted to this story from the start.

I loved Gabriella’s character so much. She was strong and fierce. All her life, she only had her mother to turn to. However, after her mom was gone, she had no choice but to seek the family that made her mother run in the first place. All she wants is to find a place where she belongs, a place to call home. She ends up finding that and even more in Vincent and Lorenzo. Lorenzo, I love this man. This man was wild. Some things he said were so hot and that mouth of his was so dirty I needed him to calm down because I couldn’t take it. He realized his feeling for Gabbi fairly quickly, and even though I wanted him to come clean from the start, I was happy when he did. He truly cared for her and wanted to make sure Gabbi was comfortable. His actions showed this.

Gabbi and Enzo’s relationship development was gradual, which I liked. It was slow at the beginning but picked up quickly towards the end. I enjoyed the side characters as well, especially Leonardo. I appreciated that Gabbi and Leo got close and had a friendship of their own. I also loved the little moments between Vincent and Gabbi and seeing how quickly Vincent became protective of her. Now I need to read Vincent and Bianca’s story because, from what I got from this book, I would really enjoy their relationship as well.

Overall, I loved this book and highly recommend.
