As always, Ms White writes a sweet and hopeful love story full of vulnerability, empathy, mystery and humor, while bringing out biblical truths in a personal way in the midst of it. Nature of a Lady was no less, along with added mystery and a search for forgotten pirate treasure. Nice light, but thoughtful story.

"I have never written a book, but I am so mad I didn't write this book.
I am in love with it.
Beaches, botany, brilliant people, pirates and mysteries!
And an old well read copy of Treasure Island with scribbled pencil notes in the margins, which are codewords and other things yet to be revealed, disguised as poetry and fairy tales. Beautiful!"

I'm calling it now, this was the book of the year for me.

Love this author! Loved the setting, the islands of Scilly which I'd never heard of before. A fun, adventurous read.

This was an absolutely delightful read! I loved the portrayal of close-knit island life and finding one’s place of belonging. The relationships were beautiful and I loved how some improved so much by the end of the book.
The suspense, mystery, and mistaken identity kept me anxiously turning the pages. This was a perfect beach vacation read and I look forward to reading more with these characters.
