Okay look - the book was good.
The spice was good, the plot was good - but again, they both need therapy.
Like there is a lot of trauma they should both work through. I won’t list it here due to spoilers but it would’ve been a nice epilogue for them.

the book that just kept going…
TOO LONG! I had such a hard time finishing this one! It did NOT need to be 500+ pages! Woof.

I loved Row but Cal just really irritated me … I get trauma and all but he professed his love to you and you still couldn’t see it until 90%(ish) of the way through the book …? How ?
I loved his sarcastic comments and humor but I also loved how raw he was with Cal when it came to telling her how he felt .

This book was everything—deliciously angsty, irresistibly romantic, and packed with sizzling chemistry. Ambrose Casablancas is the ultimate broody, unattainable hero, and Calla Litvin? A quirky, sunshine-filled force of nature who manages to break through his carefully built walls. Their push-and-pull dynamic kept me hooked from page one, and the tension? Chef’s kiss.
It masterfully balances humor, passion, and deep emotion, making this more than just a love story. There’s vulnerability, healing, and a touch of suspense woven in, adding layers to the already captivating romance. Ambrose and Calla’s journey is full of heart, heat, and just the right amount of angst to keep you flipping pages late into the night.
If you love grumpy/sunshine, enemies-to-lovers, and sizzling tension with heart, this one is a must-read. I adored every moment of it!
