In the words of Janice from friends, Oh My God! I am obsessed with Ambrose. I’m obsessed with Ro!!!!
I loved everything about this book except and the only reason why this is not a five star is for the third break up I guess. I don’t wanna spoil it.
I did love Cal (FYI I did not have the book so I don’t know if the spellings of the names are correct) I hated what she did to Ro the beginning. But I loved her quirkiness. I loved the banter between Cal and Ro in the present and in Cyberspace. I thought all of that was super cute and I was just having a lot of fun with this book because there were so many times that I just ended up cracking up. I wasn’t expecting that for this book.
The narration was incredible. I loved how they portrayed all of the characters. I do wish it was done and duet.
OK so we have Cal and Ro having sex in the beginning of this book, she asked him to take her virginity because they were about to both leave their town off to different places and she trusted him and she didn’t wanna go off into the world as a virgin. The problem is she did not want her best friend to know because that was her best friend’s brother and unfortunately they get busted by Dylan (sister and BFF) and she cuts off Cal.
Five years later, Cal comes back to town for her father’s funeral and tries to win back her best friend while trying to keep her feelings locked for Ro.
The spoiler: just the main thing I did not like was that she pretended she didn’t know she was in love with Ro this whole time, and yet the things that she kept and to prove to him to show him were obvious things so it wasn’t believable to me that she didn’t know she was in love with him. Other than that, loved the book.

Okay, this book was so disappointing in the end it was upsetting.
It started off a little rocky with the whole our-friendship-is-over-cuz-you-slept-with-my-brother thing that just was meh to me. Then it actually started to hit pretty good because AMBROSE CASABLANCAS is the BLUEPRINT of a man. He has it all, I mean it is unreal how much that man just hit every mark for me. Meanwhile, Cal Litvin is seriously THE WORST FMC I have ever read. I cannot put into words how much I dislike her.
Anyways, I listened to this book on audiobook and it was FIFTEEN HOURS ok? Thats a COMITTMENT and for the author to give me the most BS was infuriating. It was so dumb, Cal's character makes no sense, she doesn't have any character growth and I just hate her. The ending was so long and unnecessary and it was really a bummer cuz I actually really enjoyed the first half of the book.

I'm not ADD enough to keep up with the dialogue bouncing/erratic storyline...not afan of the writing I guess so I DNF'd at 20%.
