A good debut. The copy I read has a few things that could be easily fixed by publishers for future writing. I believe people are being a little hard on this guy since it got hyped up so much. There's a few things I would change but overall I enjoyed the story and the main character felt real.

I really liked the ghosts but I found Leigh to be an annoying teenager  which kudos to the author for doing that. Some of the other characters seemed somewhat stereotyped and theier descriptions werent the best either.
I think w some more editing itd be  a better book. It could even be a good movie.
