This was an okay story. I reached out for this book because i saw how tiktok famous it was. Did i think the story was original? No. Did I enjoy reading it? Yes.
This was more a YA novel than anything. Cute. Adorable. But that’s all

Pleasantly surprised by this one!

Maybe like others, I found "Leigh Howard and the Ghost of Simmons-Pierce Manor" by the viral TikTok that went around a few weeks ago. I love, love, LOVE supporting new authors, especially those who may be lesser known. I really didn't know much about this story going in other than it is a murder-mystery type story, but wow, it exceeded anything I could think.

I really was on the edge of my seat for some of the more suspenseful moments! I thought I had it figured it out in the end and I was half right! Nonetheless, still surprised me either way! Amazing work Mr. Warner! Can't wait to see what you do next!

This is a story about adventure, grieve and acceptance. I enjoyed Shawn’s first novel (I heard it from tiktok and decided to order it). He has the potential to write adventures and to describe his adventures very well. I liked how the described scenes, they were easy to picture in my head. It’s a heartwarming story about love and family.

So good!

This book is not something I would typically read now as an adult, but thought I would give it a try after seeing the TikTok video of the author. However, my junior high self would have loved every chapter of this book! I wasn't expecting the twists towards the end, I enjoyed those the most.

TikTok made me do it! It was a nice palate cleanser after my last horror book and part of the reason I picked it to begin with. I’m happy to support Mr. Warner that everyone fell in love with that got his dream to publish a book, however, this book was very juvenile. I’m not sure what age range I would suggest reading it because some parts in here were inappropriate for the 10-13 yr audience I would suggest but then again in this day and age, maybe not. I also found two typos in this book that drove me crazy!! Lol

Overall it was ok but I likely wouldn’t read it again nor suggest it to anyone. Just couldn’t help but support this man in making his dreams come true!

Great book! Excellent! Look forward to another book by this author! Ghosts and a mystery are prevalent in this book. But it was excellent!!

Like most people here, I found this book after coming across the viral tiktok of the author. He seemed like such a sweet man so I was willing to give this book a shot.

Overall I greatly enjoyed the story. There were definitely heartfelt moments and the mystery was good. The only problems I had with the story was formatting. Paragraphs started and ended in awkward transitions. Sometimes the teen girls were speaking in phrases beyond their years. And at times some parts felt very surface level and cliche, but overall a fun read and I’d be interested to see what the author comes out with next
