It's a nice novella to read between books 1 and 2. It's not groundbreaking, but it's Valek's POV so it's worth it.

It was ok. Expected it to be more interesting when I realized it would be from Valec's point of view. Perhaps I had too high of an expectation, It is after all just a short story.

Quick little read, I'm curious if it's going to add anything to the series as a whole.

I enjoyed it, I just love Valek right now so I can't get enough of him. 😉
