Adventure time is always a good silly read. The illustrations are vibrant and fun. I always read them out of order so I don’t know if there’s an overarching plot.

Of course this is a biased rating because I love adventure time especially Jake which I can always relate to.

Finn and Jake go on a quest to retrieve items for a Guildmaster in order to be inducted into the guild. They travel around the Land of Ooo in order to find the artifacts, but it seems that the Guildmaster might not be who she says she is.

'The Four Castles' is an Adventure Time graphic novel. In this instalment, Finn is feeling sensitive about Jake not always joining in with combo attacks when they battle bad guys. When the guildmaster of the Heroes' Guild turns up and asks them to take on four quests in order to be granted entry to the Guild, Finn agrees. Jake doesn't want to disappoint Finn and so goes along with the plan. The quests are to take four mythical and powerful artefacts and bring them back to the guildmaster. However we soon find out that the guildmaster is actually in disguise, and is of the Thieves' Guild instead!
I liked the moral behind the story of being honest with one another. A cute tale. :)

First graphic novel of the year and of course you can never go wrong with ADVENTURE TIME!
Still can't believe that show is over :(
