Estuvo bueno pero hubiera estado mejor si Christian no fuera tan vueltero. Amigo, decile si la queres o no tarado.

Freaking loved this book. I finished it in one day, ATE IT UP. Christian and Gianna are meant for each other and I am a tad bit ashamed that this book had me blushing and giggling over murder.

The Maddest Obsession was a hell of a ride I'll tell you that much. First things first, the book plays off in two parts: the first part spans the seven years since Gianna met Christian, and the second part goes down during the present (around the time of The Sweetest Oblivion). Furthermore, Gianna's perspective plays out during a variety of periods but Christian's either happen during the present or throughout the period at the end of the book. Personally I did not find this too confusing (even though I'm explaining it terribly) but I can see why there is the potential for it. Be sure to read the author's note before reading the book.

On to the actual book I loved the complexity of it (and I don't just mean the timeline). Gianna and Christian are both very complex characters who had to work and wait for their happily ever after. Their past trauma prevented both of them from truly opening themselves up to love and seeing them both take the risks to be happy and being there for one another was beautiful. Also, this was the one time I didn't mind a *certain trope* from appearing (if you know, you know).

Ultimately the book was just well written and an entertaining read. I can't say too much without spoiling it, but I can say that I really enjoyed all 3 the books in this series and I think you will too.

definitely worth the hype, Christian is a whole new level of Nico honestly. This is definitely the man falls first trope and a slow burn. They are wrong yet so right for each other and God, he speaks motherfucking Russian. As much as this is disturbing if it were to happen in real life but we all know we love this kind of...romance? I don't know. The title says what it says. Obsession. complete and utterly obsessed with her.  There are some disturbing parts for others but I'm okay with that. but as I learned his past I honestly don't blame him. I love him more than ever, like Giana. The saddest part is that it has fewer chapters than the first book and the third ones. why is it always like that TT.TT Christian and Giana's relationship development are just amazing. I love the fact it has been going on for years. Definitely, if they are the one...even after a lot of relationships...they will be the one for you. The universe will make the two of you together.

I really liked it, it was a bit fast paced compared to my normal reads, but it had a good balance of sex and actual plot and development. I'd say this book focused a lot more on the characters, and what made them the way they are than the first book "The Sweetest Oblivion" By Danielle Lori. Overall I enjoyed the character Gianna, she had a lot of good backstory, and it all made sense after the reveals. I also like Christian Allister's character because he also had a really good backstory, I just wish homeboy went to therapy's sooner in life. Lots of references to the first book, at some points the timeline matches up.
