The authors writing still leaves a lot to wish for but the storyline is good. Slightly improved from the first one however still the descriptions are boring and dialogues predictable, cheesy ("can I love only one?" "I love you forever" etc.)

This would've been a five-star if John wasn't stupid,
Sam was okay, and If I knew at the end if Six was speaking Spanish with the others or if they just all knew English.

I loved this book! I love this world that "Pittacus Lore" has created. It keeps me entranced and hungry for more. Great balance of action, dialogue and description, with the perfect amount of romance for a book like this. I sympathize and love the characters, and none of them are irritating. Can't wait to start the next one!

Despite the title, this one featured a lot of Seven aka Marina and that was... just okay. Look I liked this entry, the fact that John is meeting up with more of his own people to try and survive is really interesting, but I didn't love Marina's POV. However, Six (who should have been the most prevalent new character given her name was literally in the title) was so awesome that she really made this book as good as it is. Still looking forward to reading the next one though.

The authors, under the combined alias of Pittacus Lore, did an amazing job on this book. They did not crush the quality of the first, like some other authors tend to do, but instead made the second one even better.

I didn't like Seven until the book was nearly over. Her narration seemed to repeat itself. However, I find Six and Four easy to relate to.
