4 ⭐️ MM Wolf Shifter x Witch Fated Mates Romance.

This was so cute! I love shifter romances, but having the addition of witches being their mates and that's how witches get familiars!? I loved it. I haven't read any of the previous books in the series, but I didn't feel like I was missing vital info.

I listen to the audiobook, and I loved it. I can't remember the last time I listen to an audiobook where the narrator had an Australian accent. It fit, since the book takes place in Australia.

I am sucker for a stubborn grump and Brandon definitely starts off that way. He does not trust mating and romance but of course considers other steamy fun ok. LOL. Ross on the other hand, is determined and so adorable! It was wonderful to see Ross convince his reluctant wolf. This has been a steamy series of novellas and I have enjoyed them all. The romances are standalone, but I really enjoy connected groups and families of guys finding their mates.

4.5 stars A good start to the book and Brandon is admit he doesn’t want a witch or to be involved. But fate has there own way of deciding.

Brandon is called to help out at a bar for his friend but was hesitant of an event Venessa was holding. A kiss me mating gathering for shifters and witches.
Ross 33 was a witch ruby player and wanted to find his mate, a suspicion about the bartender twigs his powers.
A different kind of knowing about mate pairings by a simple

Too funny a grump wearing a pink kiss me shirt with scowl. Brandon was a sucker. It seems giving a helping hand at Vanessa  club to a group of weirdo's out looking for their mate of a lifetime..
He was perfectly happy in his own little bubble of hookups only.
Ross may seem like masc rugby player but deep down all he craved was his true mate. Only Brandon the stubbornly independent wolf didn't or wouldn't kiss him. The slow pace that Ross take to prove that his snappish wolf his is one and done.
The instant off the charts chemistry that was burning up the pages. That fantasy made reality was epically thrilling in all it glory.

Ross and Brandon's romance was an enjoyable read, but the ending left me feeling a bit confused. I think I would have been better prepared for this story if I'd read the rest of the books in the series, because I think I missed out on some of the overall world lore by reading this as a standalone. I still found the storyline and steamy bits entertaining, but something was missing for me to fully connect with the characters. I also wish Ross and Brandon's story had lasted longer than a couple of dates, because I'd have liked to see how they managed to make their mated relationship work with careers in different cities. I didn't love or hate this book, and though I was happy to see the characters get their happy ending, I don't think I'd read another book in this series.

**I voluntarily read an ARC of this book. This review expresses my honest thoughts and opinions.

I got 30% into the audiobook and the characters starting fucking and I realised I was just not paying attention at all, I don't care about these characters, I have no understanding why a werewolf shouldn't want to be with a witch. The narrator seems to be Australian and while I liked that and wanted to enjoy his performance, there were a few too many mouth noises and deep inhales at the start of each paragraph that just took me out of the story.

This is the forth book in this series. This one features Brandon and Ross. All of the couples suck you into their world and won't let you go until they finish their story. A very good read. I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
