Quick easy read!

I will probably continue the series, a little mystery, a little criminal minds, dreamy romance -- overall enjoyable.

This was a solid RS, with a dark and complicated story... fitting for our dark and complicated H/H. I read until the wee hours of the morning, because I just couldn't put it down. Definitely reading onward in the series.

I really wanted to like this book. I like romantic suspense, and have been trying to find a good series to read in that genre. But while I liked the mystery, and Eve was an okay character, I found Gabe to be fairly unbearable. He was just too overprotective, alpha male, possessive/obsessive for me. But like I said, I liked the mystery, there were some surprises and twists there! But overall, I just couldn't get past Gabe's possessiveness.

Broken is a perfectly fine romantic suspense story - nothing new or unique but solid and readable. Broken is the first story in a series about a company called LOST founded by Gabe Spencer, former SEAL. Its purpose is to find missing people. Each person on Gabe's team has lost someone in a way that has made all of them very passionate about their work. In this story, Gabe has been hired by Eve Gray who woke up in a hospital with knife wounds, bruises, and no memory. She believes that she may have escaped the Lady Killer, the name given to a serial killer who stalks and kills young, wealthy blonde women with green eyes, which fits Eve to a T. Gabe and Eve fight an immediate attraction to each other as they attempt to dig into Eve's past in order to protect her from the Lady Killer once he finds out that one of his victims actually survived.
It was pretty obvious who the Lady Killer was early on in the book, but several suspects were successfully put forth in order to add suspense to the story. A very quick read and interesting enough to hold the readers' attention - an overall good story.

A first book with a lot of twists with a sexy romance and a chilling serial killer

I must admit that the plot of this book intrigued me from the start : a woman who has lost her memory and who thinks she is one of the alleged victims of a serial killer ! And throughout the book, I doubted the identity of the culprit (I didn't see it coming AT ALL ! I had bet on another character =)), I panicked, I stressed, in short, I lived the plot to the fullest !
The romance was nice but it's mostly the plot and the characters with their secrets and their doubts that grabbed me =)

In short, a suspense romance to devour without moderation

This story was brilliantly told. It kept my attention from start to finish and kept me guessing all the way through. It also left me feeling warm and fuzzy. Kudos to the author for a well told, well written story.

Cynthia Eden, a writer after my own heart.

Just saying, I totally knew who it was since the guy first appeared in the book. I rock.
