This was my favorite of the series???? What a way to end the series and wrap it all up.

Also Roiben reminds me 1000% of Rowan but I like him more???

The best of the Modern Faerie tales (you definitely have to read Tithe, and a character from Valiant plays an important role), we get more world building, a solid resolution to the plots at play in Tithe, and more fae shenanigans.

A bit predictable, and I would have expected a little more from the primary romance, but overall a fun read.

Absolutely loved this book , I couldn't put it down. Just an warning the pacing of the book i found was quite fast. However I found that it made the book harder to put down as it left me questioning what would happen next. I also thought that worth mentioning is that it nicely tied everything together by including characters from the book valient. The characters as a whole had development and depth, especially Corny. Who had more depth in this book, than tithe the book he was in previously. For these reason I highly reccomend it .

I am so sad that I was too scared to ask my mom to buy this for me after I read the second one because I looove it.

I am a sucker for all the past characters coming back together and I love how they work out. Corny and Luis' dynamic was such a fun surprise and it's embedded in my brain now, I'll never shake it loose.

I wish a little that Ravus and Val and Ruth had more of a moment but I felt like there was so much going on with Kaye and Roiben it was fine that they didn't.

I loved the quest, I loved the mom and grandma still loving her. This is exactly what I want from a fairytale, from fairies. It's a little messed up, a little chaotic, a little dark. Holly Black writing kisses is my favorite thing? I love how they are so often about something else--like maybe killing or curing or nothing at all.

So much made me sad and worried, but I really enjoyed it.

And I loved that Kaye is planning a future with her friends and that her life won't revolve around Roiben ♡
