I needed something lighthearted and easy after a few more serious reads. This book was perfect for that. Pretty classic rom com, predictable storyline, but with hilarious sections that got me laughing out loud. If you're looking for a mindless but fun read, this is a good one.

I am not a contemporary romance person. The moment someone mentions a cell phone I usually get the ick, and I only downloaded this book because Amazon had it for free, and I wouldn't lose anything by having it for when I was bored one day.

So when I tell you that I could not put it down, that I was hooked despite the contemporary writing style, cell phones, and blatant on-page texting, know that that is a huge deal. There was no ick at all and that only happens once in a blue moon for me. I don't know what it was about this book, but I needed to know how this bet would end. I needed to see Tess find love before I even knew I liked her, and I needed to see more of Logan's charm and sweet side before I even knew I liked him.

This book was cute. So cute I might even buy the rest of the series, despite it being contemporary. Tess and Logan were so perfect and I loved their whole lives, whether that was flirting or seeing Tess contemplate her career or Logan with his family. I am obsessed and I am so glad I read this book.

Ugh i need a Jake story. He deserves a story and a happy ending

Cute and fun - I appreciated the twist on the fake dating trope.
