This was so…so hard to get through. I hate DNFing so I refused to that, but crap was I close a few times.
She makes it so confusing throughout with the 10000 character POVs. She’s written decent books with multiple POVs, but this was definitely not one of them.
I hate Ross. I get he lost his wife, so I understand being suicidal and having depression. But damn if he isn’t the worst. Also he’s so realistically in love with Lia after he sees her…once.
It was so long and dragged on forever, especially with Wiki-puke of science and paranormal (which would be interesting in other ways…or written better)

I loved the mixture of history and ghost story. I was enthralled reading Lia’s story. The many different perspectives of the many different characters made the story gripping.

I love Jodi Picoult and I’ve read many of her books. I have to say this is my least favorite so far. I think the subject matter just wasn’t my cup of tea and it was somewhat slow reading for me.
Honestly the part one of this book was a snooze fest. I read “The Friend Zone” in-between finishing this book and it took me less than a week. HOWEVER once you get into part 2 & 3 it’s soooooo interesting. I didn’t want to put the book down.
The last 10 pages made your head spin and you couldn’t believe what you were reading. Wonderful twist
