I feel like this book is so underrated. I’m a true crime fan and this was one of my favorites. The story itself was so sickening and disturbing. I think that John Douglas did such a good job at telling the story and sticking to the important parts of the investigation leading up to the arrest of Larry. I always enjoy reading John Douglas books because he tends to mention other books or cases. This is where I typically get my next read from, by looking up other true crime cases that he mentions in his books.

I enjoyed reading this novel because it goes through the entire process of finding a suspect and all the way through to the legal process.
I had never heard of this case, so I started reading it because it peaked my interest. The authors did a great job in portraying all of the emotions that came along with this case and relaying how it was processed back then.
If you're interested in reading a new true-crime novel, I definitely would pick this one up.

I enjoyed this one, and can't wait to read other books by this author. I didn't love the narrator for some reason but the authors matter of fact story telling is really enjoyable for me. The only other thing I didn't love was how much I felt it went in circles, but I also understand that it was that way because the case kinda went in circles because the killer got enjoyment out of tormenting the victims families
