A relatively fun read with a good twist. The ending was a bit cliche, and a little too "girl-boss" for me. The way the flashbacks were interspersed created some good tension approaching the climax.

My expectations were low after reading Survive the Night, and I have to say, I think low expectations helped. I did like this book better than Survive the Night, but wouldn't say it's a gem. Overall it's a good premise, just not executed well, the main character is boring and not likable at all, and the twist is predictable. All that being said, I did have fun with it, it's just a bit forgettable.

Nothing really kept me drawn to this book other than the will to finish it. Not the worst but not great.
You can tell a man wrote it, which I think says enough about certain scenes and characters.

Slow first half, worth it for the fast pace of the second. Couldn't put it down once I reached that point.

It started off pretty slow and took a while to get to the good parts. I found certain aspects of it to be predictable, but others kept me guessing. None of the characters were likable, so it wasn't as fun as if I had liked any of them. Overall, a decent thriller.
