This was very much like the Crucible for me,
I remember liking it in high school, but I was obviously wrong.

I was bored throughout the whole book. I could not get into it.
I just could not feel anything for Hester. I was so uninterested in these characters it was almost painful to read.

I get it, the hypocrisy in this book should have been spellbinding, but I just did not care.
I am not even motivated to write a review...


this review bores me, much like the book itself.

I found this one excruciatingly slow and pleonastic.
I still appreciate the story and morals, but feel there's better adaptations out today.
