As always Jennifer Estep delivers. It's getting a lil trickier for Gin these days and way more pro bono work that she anticipated, but there is nothing Gin wont do for her loved ones. And who knows maybe even get a prince in shining armor... Just another day in the life of The Spider.

Gin is semi retired from living her life as the “Spider”. A deadly assassin. This doesn’t keep Gin out of trouble. Mab is still on the hunt for Spider. What Mab doesn’t know is that Gin is living right under her nose. Mab is lucky that Gin is just waiting for the perfect moment to eliminate Mab.

When Roslyn comes to Gin in need of her assistance. One of Mab’s henchmen, Elliot Slater is after Roslyn. After Roslyn comes to Gin; Gin realizes that it is about time that she do less talking and more butt kicking.

Venom is the third elemental assassin book. To truly enjoy this series to the fullest then I would suggest that you read these books in order, starting with Spider’s Bite. I was already a fan of Ms. Estep before Spider’s Bite but I became an even bigger fan after reading Venom. Gin is one tough cookie. She takes a licking but keeps on ticking. If you ever cross Gin’s bad side, you better count your lucky stars that she kills you quickly. I like the elemental magic that Gin and Mab possess. I really like this series. Jennifer Estep is an urban fan’s dream. Venom is toxic but ooh so good!

I really enjoyed this, it does get a little tiresome when Gin goes over the things again from previous books, it usually isn't a quick recap either.

I love Gin and the new love interest seems alot more understanding of her, i was a bit disappointed we didn't see more of her powers, but i loved the plot this one had, Gin's Past is explored a little more as a much wanted ghost from her past resurfaces, new alliances are formed and "Family" added to Gins little group..... Loved it

Gin rocks! This series only gets better and better. She's almost out of the closet with her past but not quite. Hopefully in the next installment she confides in Bria that they are sisters.

I appreciate when an author doesn’t assume we’ve memorized every fact of a back story, but this series beats you over the head with repetitive facts and descriptions. I enjoy the plot and the characters, and will probably give #4 a go, but a lot could be edited here. Also when she’s going all out in a fight, planning to kill all witnesses, why is she not more immediately using her ultra powerful magic?

Oh it's getting good! By that I mean the subplot that's running through the series. I love the addition of Gin's sister, and can't wait to see how that plays out. I enjoyed this one! Good, quick, kick butt read.

This series just keeps getting better! The plot is great, I really liked the characters- Bria and Owen are great additions to the book. (I'm also glad to say good bye to Donovan and hope that he's gone for good)

The writing is a bit repetitive at points (I know what most the runes look like- I don't need them describing at every point ect.) especially at the beginning where there was a bit of a recap but in all fairness I read this book straight after Web of Lies, and the recap would probably have helped if I'd read them further apart.
