I never really expected to love this book much but R.S Grey is a master on writing lighthearted romance. I swooned! ❤️

I honestly love the fact that our heroine, Taylor, is a strong depiction of how an independent woman should be. She is feisty. She stands on her ground. She is strong. She is smart and quick witted. She is such a pure soul! Any book that involves female empowerment definitely is a hit on my list. Extra stars! ✨

I also adore how Ethan supports Taylor in any way he can but without pushing her boundaries. I love the respect in their relationship. *melts*

Kudos R.S Grey! 👏👏👏

My feelings are all over the place about this one. I did enjoy it but I also had issues with it.

For the most part, I did enjoy this book. This book is pitched as enemies to lovers and that it was. I also think that’s where my problems lie. I think they were enemies for so long that when they did get together it wasn’t earth shattering for me. Did they have chemistry? Yes, they did. However, between the bickering and miscommunication, I felt like the actual relationship got pushed to the backburner.

I did like our characters, especially Taylor! She was taking anything that life threw her way. She was tough and didn’t back down from a challenge or Ethan and his harsh words. I adored her!

Ethan took me some time to warm up to. He did come off as coldhearted and it really made me want to smack him and tell him to get over himself. He really didn’t grow on me till about 60% into this book.

I liked Ethan and Taylor together. Once they got over their many fights and miscommunication, they were actually really cute together. The epilogue here was so cute and fulfilling that even though it wasn’t my favorite from R.S. Grey, I still finished the book with the warm and fuzzies.

If you enjoy workplace romance and enemies to lovers then look into this one. I hope that I'll enjoy her next release more.

I received an ARC via the author for an honest review.

Another story by R.S. Grey that does not disappoint. I love this one! I thought this story was so unique even though it was a pretty basic trope. I loved that the story was so simple but so complex at the same time. I love that the characters were pretty complex while still being pretty simple at the same time. It was adorable how they cared for one another but were unsure how to show it. The banter was hilarious and this was definitely more of a slow burn - but it was so worth it! I loved that the characters had more purpose than just being for one another. I loved the epilogue so much and was so happy to see Taylor and Ethan living such fulfilled lives. I always recommend RS Grey books so I definitely recommend this one!!

This book had a lot of promise, great plot line, great characters and a great setting.
Taylor is desperate for money, so much so that she decides to dress up as a man to join a construction crew. There she meets her boss, a man she met not that long ago, that she thought she could be with. But now the man isn't so friendly and treats her like he hates her. Having to share a cabin with that same man, work with him and not loose her mind, Taylor spends her weeks trying to navigate the tricky waters while making enough money to keep her family going.
However, the spark there is undeniable and inevitably they will have to act on it. But will it work out or will the opinions of others force them apart?
I liked this story, it was your typical, girl is in a dilema and will do anything for money. Queue the older guy that becomes her boss who happens to be hotter than the sun. Throw in some preconceived notions and things are sure to go the wrong way.
However fine I found this story, I didn't love it. Too many filler sentences, unnecessary paragraphs and ultimately, the worst thing was the lack of communication. IF the charactrs talked about things from the beginning it would not have gotten so out of hand.
All in all it was a fluffy piece that you could read in a day and forget about in a week.

I think the problem wasn't the book but my expectations from it. While the book was good in itself, I can't help but think it could have been much better - especially with RS Grey's writing in the mix.

A Beautiful Romance

R.S. Grey never disappoints! Taylor and Ethan's story is just gorgeous, full of lush summer scenes and heartfelt swoon-worthy romance! Deserves a better book cover and title. This is a top summer read!
