Probably the best so far of the series. Things have finallllyyy come to a crossroads. Big things happening. Mostly at the very beginning and the very end but for probably the first time in the series I'm super excited to pick up the one to see where it goes, which hasn't happened yet. Not too much character depth and not nearly as much world building as my beloved Dresden files, but there's still something special about this world and the writing. It's really immersive and fun but also super dark.
