This was so adorable. I loved Olivia and Bennett as characters so much. I was kicking my feet and giggling every time they interacted. I really enjoyed how full of Chinese culture and love this book was. You can really tell how much heart was put into this book. I was laughing, giggling, and almost crying. I am so glad I finally read this and I can’t wait to read Red String Theory!

Very cute rom-com with some great lines about love in the modern day.

This book was not for me BUT some people will love it. If you are looking for a PG Hallmark movie type romance book this is for you. The descriptions of Chinatown and different foods were lovely. I enjoyed the side characters, also. Unfortunately, I found the FMC to be incredibly irritating. I almost DNFd because she was so unlikable. I sincerely wondered why the MMC was even interested. I also prefer some spice and this did not deliver. Like at all. Two kisses after like 5 dates but they’re now saying they love each other?? Anyway, this will make a certain audience happy but that audience does not include me.

Soooo cute! We love a enemies to lovers arc where the MMC is a softy first. I enjoyed a look into the Chinese zodiac too!
