This book starts off with a bang. Unfortunately, there is no development of the characters or the story at all before the bang, so the bang doesn’t have much effect. The beginning is intense and everything and gets the story going, but I wasn’t on the edge of my seat hoping these characters make it out alive or anything. I mean, I don’t even know these characters yet, so why would I root for them or worry about them? I’m clearly not a fan of the way this book started off.

Unfortunately, even as the story continued, I still didn’t really care about these characters. They go through quite a bit throughout the book, but I never cared too much about it. I felt the characters were underdeveloped and the storytelling was weak, so I was never fully pulled into it.

There are also quite a few editorial mistakes throughout the book, which of course always bothers me greatly.

The concept of the story was good, however, and it’s clear the author is knowledgeable; she just failed to execute it well.

Overall, I found this novel disappointing and weak. It failed to capture my interest and I never connected with the characters. It’s not a horrible novel, but not very good either. I won’t be continuing the series.

I really liked the mystery and trying to figure out the leak. I was annoyed by the ending and the focus on the love story. Ugh.

All fall down was just okay. The suspense was the best part of the book. The worst part was the romance. The romance felt forced and almost like instant love. Since this book was short there wasn't a lot of time to build the romance. While the suspense was the best part, it could have been better. I feel like since I didn't care that much for the characters, the suspense suffered. I feel like you should care when the characters are in trouble and makes the story more suspenseful.

This book was well-written with an interesting plot that starts on page one and doesn't quit until the end. I loved the characters and look forward to reading the next book!
