It was ok. Was not very intricate or interesting that H.G. Wells saw in the future. Lacked a great deal of detail and was not quite as interesting as I liked. Was a large deal of social commentary rather than fictionally interesting if that makes sense. Ignored the power of computers and AI and was more steampunk future.

Such an interesting story! H. G. Wells has such a fascinating story of time travel and time machines, so in depth you would almost believe he knows hows to truly make one. I loved this book and so glad I finally gave in to reading it!

Wonderfully unpredictable for a classic science fiction novel. It's rare that a time travel story these days delves so far into the future.

Sorry to put down a classic, but I really hated this book. It was awful. If I could hive this book zero stars, I would. Sorry.

The narrator felt so condescending, like I wouldn’t be able to understand how the time machine worked. I felt like there was so much potential with this future world, yet the story fell completely flat.

I listened to this on audiobook.

The novella is centred around a time traveller who is developing a time travel machine when they are transported to a future world.

The creatures in the future are friendly and caring, they are described in such a detailed way you can imagine them clearly. I loved the friendship between the Time traveller and Weena

Overall, I really enjoyed listening to this book, it was so short though! When the ending came I wanted more . I can understand why it is a classic sci fi novella and I would fully recommend it to anyone who’s into sci-fi. I can’t wait to read this book physically!

I love that the artsyle fits really well with the story, it doesn't look as computer coloured, which is great since it starts in the late 1800s in London. Before I knew it, I finished this, and I am very curious about the original book by H. G. Wells.
