A very sweet YA romance with a dash of hard-hitting commentary. I found the writing left a lot to be desired - a lot of the conversations felt very much like an adult trying to pretend to be a teenager - but otherwise had no major complaints.

I really loved this book!! My life has paralleled Lila’s in many ways at different times in my life. One of the sad stories within the larger story is similar to one I am dealing with right now. I would watch an endless tv series based on this book.
