The book was pretty good overall. Had ups and downs, parts I loved and parts that I could not agree with. Mr. Harrari makes some very strong points throughout the book. One of the best things about this book is the variety of information, stuff from all the sciences. Learnt a lot, enjoyed a lot. Took a long break after reading 3/4th of the book, that might be a reason I found the last part disappointing.

Yuval Noah Harari a man with big ideas, a profound thinker !!! In his book "Homo Deus: A History of Tomorrow," he takes us on an exciting journey into the future of humanity. This book builds upon the ideas in his previous work, "Sapiens," and explores extensively into what might happen next for our species. It's a book that makes you think and maybe even feel a bit uneasy about what lies ahead.

One big question that comes up is why humans build things like ships, airplanes, banks, bigger buildings, theaters etc. The answer is simple: because humans need other humans to enjoy all these !!! But here's the twist: what if AI becomes so advanced that human presence doesn't matter anymore? Then what AI is doing here without any humans? So I like Harari’s other optimistic view on this matter: instead of AI taking over completely and making us irrelevant, it could merge with us to create superhumans.

Another reason why AI might not make humans irrelevant is that AI and AI-controlled robots don't have emotions like hunger or the desire to drink a cold beer on a hot day. The hospitality industry, with its hotels, restaurants, and bars, thrives because of people who want to enjoy these experiences. While robots might replace bartenders, they can't replace the people who love to drink and socialize.

I believe that world leaders should read this book carefully and grasp its concepts. I also recommend making this book a part of every child's education. It should be included in the curriculum so that the younger generation can understand the importance of everything - people, religion, caste, creed, culture, and more - in our rapidly changing world.

“Humans were always far better at inventing tools than using them wisely !!!” - Yuval Noah Harari.
