Misscomnication trope is on another level here, I just can't not. Romance...where only one liked was Faisal and Amira. I'm being generous with rating.

this was really good book, loved the dual pov. i was honestly on both kiran and deen’s side but i think maybe kiran went to far w inviting leah to the wedding and everything else on the 3 step plan but maybe that’s just because i knew deen’s perspective. would i not do the same for my sister?? i don’t know

I have twisted opinions about this book. I need to think a little bit more before i write down my thoughts.

The book was so good, and the author's humor shines, as I would expect. I would have rated it higher if the co-lead Kiran wasn't so intolerable.

I picked this one up because the cover was gorgeous (yes, i do judge books by the cover.) and i am so glad I did. I learned so much about a variety of cultures through a variety of lenses. While reading (listening), i found myself making a list of things I wanted to do more research on and fell down a few internet rabbit holes.
it has second chance (and third? i guess?) romance, invisible string theory, and incredible characterization.
i will say i almost wish i had the written book in front of me while listening, but i enjoyed the journey the audiobook took me on!
