Muy divertido (y bastante actual a pesar de ser de los años 20).
Lo compré para guardárselo a mi hija y ya sé que o cuidaré como oro hasta que llegue el momento (apenas aprenda a leer).

Freddy the Pig and the other barnyard animals decide to start an Animal Republic and elect a president to oversee the farm while Mr. Bean is away on vacation. But the scheming rat Simon has a plan to upset the election, and a group of meddling woodpeckers threaten to take over the farm. It's up to Freddy to come up with a plan to save the farm!

I love the old-fashioned charm of the Freddy books! It's reminiscent of Winnie the Pooh in some ways. The animal characters are all interesting and funny. The writing style is simple and charming.
Freddy is a really hilarious character who can be silly at times, although he's so much smarter than the other animals. He's dignified and ridiculous at the same time!
The election plot really kept me guessing, and I was delighted with the story!

I liked it. They start the animal bank right before the Beans go to Europe and this new bird comes named John Quincy and he says "I want to be the president of the bank." And Freddy lets him. John Quincy lives on the White House grounds and when they're about to start the Free Animal Republic and their voting for president and they get a 3rd candidate not including Grover, John Quincy's father and Mrs. Wiggins. It's a rabbit. For Mrs. Wiggins they flip them over for rabbit. They need to catch him. Simon's part of it and he gets into Bertram he's so strong that no animals can over power him and he takes over a bunch of farms.
