Literally not worth my time to read the last 100 pages. The book has a great concept, but it’s about 300 pages too long. Repetitive recipe for the first half. Wayyyy too long monologues of….nothing for what amounted to like 75 pages worth. Then some weird mission impossible story to end? No thanks. I’d rather move along and read something else on my list. Read the last 5 pages or so to see how it ended and happy I didn’t waste the rest of my time on it.

First half was super fun to read and scary as you started to unravel the secrets of the cult, second half started to get a little repetitive but I did enjoy the body switching twist at the end. Also, there was a lot of back and forth with the main character and his friend not believing what they saw. This was a little frustrating considering how many encounters they had and also how they had everything on film
Ugh. My favorite character was underdeveloped, and the story as a whole took a looooong time to build up to an ending that I found disappointing.
