This is the first book I've read from Adam Nevill and while I liked it, there were a few things that didn't work for me. First, it's long. For a book over 500 pages there really should be a lot going on but that really wasn't the case here. Secondly, it's SO long and ends really abruptly. There's no clear answer as to what happens in the aftermath either. For a book like this I would have wanted to know what happened- did they send the tape? Even if that question was the only thing answered I would have been satisfied. But it wasn't so I felt let down when I closed the last page. Other than that I did find this to be a creepy read and would definitely read another from the author in the future.
