The book was 10 little short stories all set in this same town in Wales. I liked that they were low commitment stories since they changed every 30 ish pages. I hadn’t read a collection of short stories before and I think I like the format. They felt very real bc they were very ‘average person slice of life’ but I just didn’t enjoy the feel of a lot of them a little too depressing and a little too written from a MAN’S point of view. 2 or 3 of the 10 stories were pretty decent or tied together nicely but a lot of them ended abruptly and left me with no closure or understanding what the messege was. I mean it makes sense with the title but like I wanted the characters to figure out what they were doing :(
