I really enjoyed this book, the autio book was really nice. I love the way Vandermer writes the characters, control (loving the irony of his name)was an amazing character to be inside the head of. The path that was painted for us was one I loved every step of the way. Having the biologist again play sutch an influential part was very nice because I did indeed miss her.
I personally love to be confused in books and than all of it clicks, my favorite reading experience. And this is what these books are, I’m just really confused about things than all of it comes together. I understood more than reading the first book but enjoyable non the less.

Big let down after enjoying Annihilation so much. I found it to be overwritten and uncompelling, a complete 180 to its predecessor. There were some very cool, very spooky scenes, and the ending was genuinely intriguing, but I don't think it's enough for me to keep going with the series.
