I love when a stalker romance is done right and this mafia book fits the bill. Ryker happens upon Calla during an assigned and is instantly attached. She’s married with children so he keeps an eye on her until one day her husband dies and he no longer watches from the shadows. Ryker is intense in the best way. Calla and her kids are essentially just along for the ride because he’s had years to prepare for them and he’s not letting them go. He’s fiercely protective and a good antihero. Calla has a hard time adjusting, which I don’t blame her. Her life was normal, until it wasn’t. But when Ryker loves, he loves hard and Calla deserves that kind of intense love.

Bellandi Crime Syndicate series / Grieved Loss I definitely recommend reading this book/ series. I really thought their was no hope for Ryker because he was stone cold crazy. This was entertaining, well written and a page turner. I love Calla and Ryker characters and this book. I would give this book more then 5 stars.I received an ARC for my honest opinion.

This is such a unique story. I have a weird soft spot for stalker romances. The Bellandi men are a unique breed, for sure. Matteo was one of the most possessive heroes I’ve come across. Lino, was only about 70% as possessive as Matteo. That’s a lot, for sure, but his possessiveness paled next to Matteo. Ryker though, he’s just a hair away from being as possessive as Matteo. I’d say he’s at least 95%, if not a little more.

Calla’s response, reactions and thoughts about Ryker are honestly pretty close to believable. The part of me that loves an easy h wanted to smack her a time or ten, though. Axel definitely also read older than six too. It worked for the story but some of his insights would have been a stretch for even an older child.

i was so excited to read and it was good at the beginning but the way he moved them i the same day he met them and kept making so many adjustments was infuriating. The heroines response was annoying to she just let him get away with it and i felt like it was to rushed while i understand it’s a dark romance i felt like some parts were unnecessary like how quickly paced everything happened. And the lack of time to actual progress a relationship

Stalking her

Early on in this series I wanted to know who and why ryker was stalking. This story was brilliant. It covered every stalker impulse and more. He followed Calla like her shadow. Filmed her, knew every small detail not even her dead husband would even care to think of. Ryker was obsessed. It went passed all reason for her to love him, but he made sure he broke through her barriers until she knew she was all he wanted. I loved how he was with the kids, the bond they shared was heart warming. Great read.
